Question: Is E188CC equivalent to ECC88 and E88CC?

I hope someone can be of help. I would like to know if Siemens E188CC tubes
can safely replace E88CC and ECC88 - according to my tube book they should
not be fully identical.

They should be compatible but of a higher quality and have higher
filament current from memory.
